John F. Kennedy once said, “nothing compares to the simple pleasure of a bike ride.” I couldn’t agree more – and there’s no better place for a bike ride than right here on Miami Beach. One of my favorite Sunday morning rituals is taking a relaxing bike ride on South Beach. It’s the best way to take a breather from the busy work week, soak up some sun, and get a little exercise, all at once.
Don’t have a bike of your own? No problem. With the convenience of DecoBike, Miami Beach’s bike sharing and rental program, a bicycle is at your reach every few blocks (you can check out the station map here). Simply locate a kiosk, select your rental time, grab a bike and go! For just four bucks, you’ve got a bike for 30 minutes. Five bucks gets you an hour. When you’re done, drop your bike off at the nearest kiosk…no need to trek back to your starting point.
If you’re looking for a great ride, here are my top two picks: Start at Purdy Avenue and ride the Venetian Causeway. Helpful hint: be sure to weave off the main road and check out the beautiful homes on the small side streets of Dilido, San Marino and Rivo Alto. Another scenic ride: Start at the boardwalk and bike path at the W Hotel in between 22nd and 23rd streets and ride south all the way to South Pointe Park. For a truly scenic ride, time your trip to finish with a sunset cocktail outside at Smith and Wollensky while taking in the breathtaking views.

Welcome to my blog!
I’m a Miami Beach native and a true Miami fan, having received my JD/MBA at the University of Miami. I also have an affinity for cajun food after spending four years in New Orleans, Louisiana, where I attended undergrad at Tulane University. I’ve studied abroad in South America and Spain, and traveled to some of the coolest cities across the globe – and I can tell you hands down that one of the most exciting cities in the world is right here on Miami Beach.
Born and raised on Miami Beach, and now working as a luxury real estate agent on Miami Beach, I am truly passionate about all that this city has to offer. From restaurants and bars, to beaches, events and art, there is something for everyone.
One of the greatest parts about being a real estate agent on Miami Beach is that I learn something new about this city every day. This blog gives me the opportunity to share my experiences with you.
